Kirkton Guild

The Church of Scotland Guild is a movement within the Church of Scotland which invites and encourages both women and men to commit their lives to Jesus Christ and enables them to express their faith in worship, prayer and action. Membership of the Guild is open to all who accept the Aim. With around 30,000 members, the Church of Scotland Guild is one of Scotland's largest voluntary organisation. Although women make up the bulk of our membership, increasingly, men are becoming members and taking active roles at local and national levels.

Our Guild has been in existence for over 80 years, and we meet in the Church Hall on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7.30pm. It is an organisation in which will be found friendship and Christian fellowship, and we endeavour to serve the Church in many ways. The Committee are very lively and hardworking and they have arranged a very varied and interesting syllabus. Anyone wishing to join will be assured of a very warm welcome. If transport is required, this can be arranged by contacting the conveners or any committee member, so why don't you come along and give us a try?
