AFRICAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR

posted 6 May 2016, 02:52 by clydesdale foodbank

AFRICAN CHILDREN’S CHOIR is coming to Kirkton Church on Friday 3rd June at 7.30pm.

The African Children’s Choir is comprised of 18 African children, aged seven to eleven. This year’s Choir members come from Uganda.

Audiences are treated to a wide variety of songs accompanied by drums and ethnic instrumentation, including well-loved children’s songs, gospel melodies and lively spirituals.

The admission charge for the concert is £5 adults (£3 children) and a free-will offering will be taken to support the Choir’s efforts back in Africa. If anyone can offer accommodation for the children and chaperones, please see Lesley Ewing.
