CLYDESDALE FOOD BANK NEWS

posted 18 Oct 2013, 03:47 by clydesdale foodbank

Thank you to all of you who continue to support us with donations.

Next week is the turn of Kirkton Church to collect food.

We have had a huge number of deliveries in the last couple of weeks from churches and schools collecting for their Harvest thanksgiving services. As a result we are happy to say that the shelves are pretty full. However the demand continues to grow so we still need money to provide the fresh food shop that goes with every referral. So please consider giving a cash donation instead. There are envelopes in the church vestibule.

The food bank is now open every weekday morning from 10.00am – 12noon. If you can commit to giving 2 hours a week to help there, please call Liz Paton on 075546 579273.

Also, if you had previously volunteered as a driver /deliverer, can you please contact her to let her know days/ hours you are available.

Gift Aid envelopes and Standing Order forms are available from Liz Barthram on 750778.
