The DEPRESSED CAKE SHOP LANARKSHIRE aims to break down the stigma of talking about depression and raise awareness of the condition by selling cakes that represent the thoughts and feelings that living with depression brings.
It is a pop-up shop run by volunteers and all profits go to local mental health organisation The Hope Cafe. They are looking for people to help by baking for an event on SATURDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER at ST. JOHN'S CHURCH HALL between 10am and 2pm. On the day they will also have information about mental health services available, and it will be an opportunity to discuss these issues openly.  If you can help please call Donna on 07974 968 220.
