As well as Blythswood Care Shoebox Sunday on 23 October there will be a Harvest Festival on Sunday 9 October. The Sanctuary will be decorated in the traditional way and Harvest gifts of food on the day would be appreciated. The items donated will be given to the Food Bank. Suggested items to bring are: cereals, pasta, rice, tins of:-  meats (hot and cold), vegetables, potatoes, fruit, custard, rice pudding. Also tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, jam, cooking oil, salt, ketchup, sauces for rice or pasta, bleach, cleaning cloths, soap, shampoo, shower gel, deodorant, adult toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, shaving foam, feminine hygiene products.

If you are unable to bring anything on the day there will be an opportunity to contribute through a special Harvest offering which will be uplifted during the service. The Food Bank buys fresh produce on an ad hoc basis and help towards this cost is greatly appreciated.
