There will be a united service in St John’s Church at 10.30am that morning. A bus will leave from there at 12 noon. Please add your name to the list in the hall or in the church vestibule by Fri 1st May to book your seats.

A jam jar display is being made up for the Parish Grouping stall at the Heart and Soul event in Edinburgh.  The display takes the form of 28 Scott's jams made into a triangulation point symbol (as on Ordnance Survey maps).  It is hoped to create a 'talking point' about Carluke.  As Heart and Soul's theme is 'Living Stones,' we would like our living stones to be photos of our church people.  The photos will be applied to the jam jar lids.
Therefore, we are asking members of the congregations to provide photos of themselves, preferably as family groups, or groups of friends.  These will be cut to a jam jar lid size and applied to the display. No individual names will be used, only the images of faces to 'illuminate' our display.
In total we need 28 group photos. The photos can be scanned and the copies used so your original photos can be returned to you if required.  If you would like to contribute a photo, please leave these with Moira Elliott, Ian Arbuckle or Libby Muir over the next two Sundays.
