The U3A is a national organisation, which is not determined by age but rather is for anyone who is now retired or semi-retired. Lanark and District U3A, founded eight years ago, now has over 200 members, 45% of whom live in Carluke. With nearly thirty interest groups, mostly led by members, there is something for everyone. Some groups are for pure leisure and enjoyment while others enable some form of learning. New members are always welcome and if you have not heard about the U3A and would like to find out more, then why not come along to an informal coffee morning and /or the first General Meeting of the session. You will be under no obligation to pay the very reasonable, annual £15.00 enrolment fee, until you decide you wish to join. By visiting our informative website, as detailed above, you can find out all about this local, vibrant organisation.

Coffee Morning: Tuesday 4th Sept. at 10.15am in Clydesdale Hotel, Lanark.

General Meeting: Wednesday 19th Sept. at 2pm in Memorial Hall, Lanark. Danny Gallagher will speak about ‘Canine Partners’

A warm welcome awaits
